What To Expect
Avoid sun exposure and tanning, and inform your doctor of any medical conditions or medication use. Shave the area to be treated. Bring a photo of the tattoo for assessment.
Skin may appear red and swollen, and blisters may form. Apply ice packs and keep the area elevated. Avoid sun exposure, strenuous exercise, and hot tubs.
Blistering may start to heal, and the skin may scab or peel. Keep the area clean and avoid picking or scratching. Apply antibiotic ointment and avoid sun exposure.
The tattoo may appear significantly faded. Continue to avoid sun exposure and maintain proper skincare. Consider scheduling another treatment session. Inform your doctor of any concerns or complications.
